Information We Collect
The App does not collect any personal information. No account or login is required, and we never access your name, email address, location, or any other identifying data.
Camera & Microphone Access
The App may request access to your camera and microphone.
- Camera: Used solely to detect and convert Japanese era dates in documents (Camera OCR feature). Images are processed entirely on your device and are never sent to any external server.
- Microphone: Used for the voice input feature. Speech recognition is performed using Apple's Speech Framework, on-device or via Apple's servers as needed. No audio data is stored or transmitted by the App itself.
Where Data Is Stored
Your conversion history and app settings (theme, language, display format, etc.) are stored exclusively on your device using UserDefaults and SwiftData. Widget data is shared via local shared UserDefaults and never leaves your device.
Third-Party Services
The App does not use any advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or crash-reporting tools.
Network Communication
Holiday data is bundled within the App and requires no internet connection. Future updates may add a network request to fetch updated holiday data — in such cases, no personally identifiable information will be transmitted.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated without prior notice. Significant changes will be communicated through app updates.
