This page explains how 在留 Zairyu (the "App") handles your information.
The App collects no personal information. No account registration or login is required. We do not collect names, email addresses, or location data.
Used solely for on-device OCR scanning of your residence card. Images and recognition results are processed entirely on your device and are never transmitted to any server.
We request permission to send push notifications to remind you of upcoming expiry dates. Notification content is generated on-device and never transmitted externally.
All residence card data and app settings are stored in your own iCloud private database (CloudKit). The developer has zero access to this data.
The App uses no advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or crash-reporting tools.
The App communicates only with iCloud for syncing your own data. No other external network requests are made.
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from them.
This policy may be updated without prior notice. Significant changes will be communicated via app updates.
